Uganda Visa Information
Getting a Visa to Uganda
Getting entry into Uganda is not complicated. Whereas the world has had a torrid two years associated with travel bans due to the Covid-19 pandemic, travel and entry into Uganda remains easy. All that you need is a valid VISA which can be obtained online.
In addition to the Visa, you will require a Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate. If you are vaccinated against Covid-19, you should carry the vaccination certificate too. Those who are not vaccinated are required to present a negative PCR certificate issued within 72 hours prior to arrival.
Visas are necessary for most visitors (with the exception of nationals from East African Community). This Ugandan Visa is obtained at a fee of 50USD.
East African Tourist Visa
In alternative to getting a Ugandan visa, you can obtain an East African Tourist Visa. this too can be obtained online. Please contact us through our contact form for guidance.
The East Africa Tourist Visa allows you travel between the Republics of Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda.
This East African Tourist Visa is obtained at a cost of 100USD. This Visa does not permit work.
The holder of the East Africa tourist visa can enter the other mentioned countries of the East African region from the country that issued the visa without applying for another visa or paying for another Visa fee.
This East African Tourist Visa shall not be extended upon expiry.
The validity period of the visa is 90 days from Visa approval.
